Hi! I’m Angela

I've always been interested in people and their stories. This led me to study Sociology and Education at the University of California, Irvine. During this time, I got to know a beautiful toddler with the most joyful giggle who didn't speak. I found myself longing to hear her first words. That moment inspired me to complete my master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of the Pacific. Not only was I captivated by the broad scope of the field, but I learned that communication extends beyond verbal speech and can be expressed across many modalities.

Through my clinical expertise, holistic lens, personal experiences, and reflection on my work, my practice is now rooted in deep listening and empathy, curiosity for your goals and well-being, and meaningfully collaborating with you.

Here's what that looks like in practice:

  • We can expand your child’s vocabulary and language while maintaining your special caregiver-child bond.

  • We can expand your child’s food repertoire while creating a stress- and tear-free mealtime.

  • We can discover or rediscover your authentic voice and communication so you can confidently express yourself and engage with others.

  • We can support memory and attention through meaningful and motivating activities.

  • We can find different yet meaningful ways to communicate without sacrificing connection.

Communication is more than words. It’s about connection, creating a sense of belonging, and creating a safe space for your authentic expression.

With over ten years of experience, I continue to love this work deeply. It's an honor for me to help others rediscover confidence, self-determination, and their ability to connect with themselves and those around them through an empathetic and collaborative practice.

I would be privileged to support you on your journey. If you're ready to explore how we can work together, I'd love to hear from you.
